Our Ryedale garden business, 'Asking 4 Gardening', based near Pickering is a partnership of two enthusiastic garden specialists, Geoffrey King and Fiona-Maria Duncalf.
Established in 2005 and formerly based in York, 'Asking 4 Gardening' offers a comprehensive range of skilled garden services over a large part of North Yorkshire. We regularly attend gardens from York to the Yorkshire coast, Stokesley to the North and Beverley to the South.

Geoffrey King
Geoffrey has been passionately gardening since the age of nine when he used to help his mum in the garden, growing radishes and spring onions.
He has studied a City & Guilds Gardening Certificate and a Plant Knowledge course at Askham Bryan College, York, North Yorkshire. Currently he is studying a Garden Design course part-time with the KLC Design School, London.
Geoffrey has a wealth of experience and knowledge to bring to your garden and has been running the business for five years.
Fiona-Maria Duncalf B.A (Hons) Ceramics
Fiona has a life-long interest and passion for the natural environment.
Trained for several years in Art and Design she used this inspiration to gain a degree in Ceramics at Cardiff University.
Now, Fiona is studying Landscape Architecture / Garden Art & Design part-time at Leeds Metropolitan University. Combining this with her studies for the RHS certificate in Horticulture and a the 'Designing with Plants' course also with the KLC.
Fiona can bring to your garden artistic flair combined with a strong knowledge of plants.
